Bio: Harold Dauerman received his bachelor of science from Yale University and his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed his training in internal medicine, general and interventional cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Beth Israel Hospital. Dr. Dauerman has been an interventional cardiology faculty member at the University of Vermont serving as Director, Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratories, Director of Cardiovascular Services and currently as Network Director for Interventional Cardiology. He is a tenured Professor in the Department of Medicine and the UVM Health Network Dept of Medicine Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs..
Dr. Dauerman is involved in clinical trial research, program development and care of high risk coronary and structural heart patients. This includes development of a region wide STEMI program, a comprehensive structural heart program and advising the national STEMI improvement initiative, Mission Lifeline. Dr. Dauerman has served in national leadership roles including prior Chair, Clinical Cardiology programming for the American Heart Association, Editor in Chief of Coronary Artery Disease, Senior Guest Editor for Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions and Executive Editor for the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
