Dr. Bhat is an interventional Cardiologist, who serves as Director of vascular medicine and structural heart disease program and Interventional cardiology fellowship program at St. Elizabeth’s medical center. He is as Assistant professor of medicine at Boston University School of medicine, and Adjunct-Assistant professor of medicine at Tufts University School of medicine. Dr. Bhat was trained at North Shore LIJ- Staten Island University Hospital NY, for internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship. He completed his advanced fellowships in Interventional cardiology, Endovascular Interventions and Structural Heart Disease Interventions at Tufts University School of Medicine- St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. He is specialized in various minimally invasive catheter based interventional procedures including Structural heart disease, coronary artery disease and Peripheral Arterial and Venous diseases. Dr. Bhat has a special interest in Structural heart disease and PVD, Including Valvular heart disease (Aortic, Mitral) - TAVR, MitralClip, TCMVR, ASD/ PFO, PVL closure and CLI. Dr. Bhat is board-certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Medicine, Endovascular Medicine, Vascular medicine, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Internal medicine.
